Effective Date: 2026-05-07
Last Updated: 2026-05-07

These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the website operated by Redacted Tactical Supply (“RTS,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), located at https://redactedtacticalsupply.com (the “Site”), and the purchase of any products or services from us. By accessing the Site, creating an account, or placing an order, you (“Customer,” “you,” or “your”) agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Site.

1. Acceptance and Modifications

By using the Site or placing an order, you confirm you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms, our Privacy Policy, our Shipping Policy, and our Refunds & Returns Policy, all of which are incorporated by reference. We may revise these Terms at any time by updating this page; the revised Terms apply to all activity on or after the posted Effective Date.

2. Eligibility and Age Requirements

You represent and warrant that:

  • You are at least 18 years of age;
  • For purchases of handguns and handgun ammunition, you are at least 21 years of age;
  • You are a citizen of, or lawfully admitted to, the United States;
  • You are not a “prohibited person” under 18 U.S.C. § 922(g) or any applicable state or local law;
  • All information you provide is accurate and complete.

We may verify age and eligibility at any time and may refuse or cancel any order that fails verification.

3. FFL Transfer Requirements (Firearms)

All firearms shipped from RTS must be transferred to you through a licensed Federal Firearms Licensee (“FFL”). By placing an order for a firearm, you acknowledge:

  • You are responsible for selecting an FFL dealer authorized to receive transfers in your state of residence and for arranging any transfer fees with that dealer.
  • The receiving FFL is the dealer of record for the transfer; RTS is not party to the FFL-to-customer transaction.
  • You must pass the National Instant Criminal Background Check System (“NICS”) at the receiving FFL before taking possession.
  • You must comply with all federal, state, and local waiting periods, permit requirements, and additional documentation.
  • If you fail or are denied a background check, RTS may, at its sole discretion, return the firearm to inventory subject to a restocking fee and any return shipping costs, or refer the matter to applicable authorities.

4. National Firearms Act (“NFA”) Items

Suppressors, short-barreled rifles, short-barreled shotguns, machine guns, and any other firearms regulated under the National Firearms Act are subject to additional rules:

  • Purchase requires a fully completed and approved ATF Form 4 (or applicable form) and payment of the applicable transfer tax to the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (“ATF”).
  • RTS will not ship NFA items until the ATF has approved the transfer; processing times are determined by the ATF and are outside our control.
  • Funds for the item and the tax stamp may be due at order placement; tax stamp payments collected by RTS are forwarded to the ATF on your behalf.
  • Cancellations after Form 4 submission may be subject to additional fees and ATF restrictions.
  • Refer to our NFA Process page for detailed steps.

5. Restricted Jurisdictions

Certain firearms, magazines, ammunition, and accessories are restricted or prohibited in specific states, counties, and municipalities. By placing an order, you represent and warrant that the product(s) are lawful to possess and use at your delivery address. RTS reserves the right to refuse or cancel orders that, in our sole judgment, would violate any applicable law. RTS does not provide legal advice; you are solely responsible for confirming the legality of any item under all laws applicable to you.

6. Order Acceptance

Your placement of an order constitutes an offer to purchase. Acceptance occurs only when RTS confirms the order in writing or ships the product. We reserve the right to:

  • Refuse, limit, or cancel any order in our sole discretion;
  • Correct pricing or description errors at any time, including after order confirmation;
  • Require additional verification before fulfilling an order.

7. Product Information

We make commercially reasonable efforts to display accurate descriptions, specifications, images, and pricing. However: manufacturer specifications are subject to change without notice; color reproduction varies by display; typographical errors may occur and do not bind RTS; and availability is not guaranteed. Some items are sold on backorder or pre-order.

8. Pricing, Taxes, and Payment

  • All prices are in U.S. dollars.
  • Prices do not include applicable sales, use, excise, or other taxes; you are responsible for those amounts where required by law.
  • We accept payment methods displayed at checkout. We may decline transactions flagged for fraud, address mismatch, or other risk factors.
  • For NFA and special-order items, payment terms may differ; refer to the applicable product page or RTS communication.

9. Shipping and Delivery

Shipping is governed by our Shipping Policy, including timelines, signature requirements, lost or damaged claims, and FFL-to-FFL routing. Risk of loss passes to the receiving FFL or, for non-firearm items, to you upon delivery to the carrier. You must inspect items upon receipt and report any damage or shortage within the time stated in the Shipping Policy.

10. Returns and Refunds

Returns and refunds are governed by our Refunds & Returns Policy. Firearms accepted by an FFL on your behalf are generally non-returnable except for documented manufacturing defects, consistent with industry practice and federal law (post-transfer firearms are typically classified as “used” upon receipt).

11. Acceptable Use; Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to:

  • Place a firearm purchase on behalf of another person who is not eligible to purchase (“straw purchase”), which is a federal felony under 18 U.S.C. § 922(a)(6);
  • Resell, transfer, or distribute any product in violation of federal, state, or local law;
  • Use the Site to transmit unlawful, harassing, defamatory, or infringing content;
  • Reverse engineer, scrape, or copy the Site’s content beyond what is permitted by applicable law;
  • Use any automated means to access the Site without our prior written consent.

12. Sell-To-Us Program

If you offer firearms or related items to RTS through our Sell-To-Us program:

  • You represent and warrant lawful ownership and the right to transfer;
  • You must accurately disclose the item’s condition, history, and any defects;
  • RTS may inspect, decline, or revise an offer at any time prior to taking possession;
  • All transfers must comply with applicable FFL and recordkeeping requirements;
  • Payment terms and methods will be specified in writing prior to transfer.

13. Classified Listings

If RTS hosts third-party classified listings, RTS is not the seller of those items and makes no representations or warranties regarding them. Buyers and sellers using classifieds are solely responsible for compliance with all applicable laws, including FFL transfer requirements where applicable.

14. User Accounts

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity under your account. Notify us immediately of unauthorized use. We may suspend or terminate accounts at our discretion, including for violations of these Terms.

15. Intellectual Property

All content on the Site, including text, graphics, logos, images, and software, is owned by or licensed to RTS and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws. We grant you a limited, revocable, non-transferable license to access and use the Site for lawful, personal, non-commercial purposes only.

16. Third-Party Links and Services

The Site may link to or integrate with third-party services (including, without limitation, payment processors, shipping carriers, and marketplace platforms). RTS is not responsible for the content, security, or practices of those services and does not endorse them.

17. Disclaimer of Warranties

EXCEPT AS EXPRESSLY STATED IN WRITING BY RTS OR PROVIDED BY THE PRODUCT MANUFACTURER, ALL PRODUCTS AND SERVICES ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE.” TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, RTS DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING THE IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. ANY MANUFACTURER WARRANTIES PASS THROUGH TO YOU UNDER THE TERMS PROVIDED BY THE MANUFACTURER.

18. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, RTS, ITS OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, AGENTS, AND AFFILIATES SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, OR USE, WHETHER BASED ON WARRANTY, CONTRACT, TORT, OR ANY OTHER LEGAL THEORY. RTS’S AGGREGATE LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO THESE TERMS OR ANY PRODUCT SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU ACTUALLY PAID FOR THE PRODUCT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE EVENT.

NOTHING IN THESE TERMS LIMITS LIABILITY THAT CANNOT BE EXCLUDED UNDER APPLICABLE LAW (E.G., GROSS NEGLIGENCE, FRAUD, OR PERSONAL INJURY CAUSED BY DEFECTIVE PRODUCTS WHERE PROHIBITED).

19. Product Use and Indemnification

Firearms, ammunition, and tactical equipment are inherently dangerous and require proper training, storage, and handling. You assume full responsibility for the lawful and safe use of any product purchased. You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless RTS, its officers, employees, agents, affiliates, and suppliers from and against any and all claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising out of or related to:

  • Your use, misuse, or possession of any product;
  • Your violation of any law, regulation, or third-party right;
  • Your breach of these Terms.

20. Force Majeure

RTS is not liable for delays or failures caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including without limitation acts of God, war, terrorism, pandemic, civil disorder, government action, ATF processing delays, carrier failures, supply chain disruptions, fire, flood, or labor disputes.

21. Governing Law and Venue

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Colorado, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles. Subject to Section 22, the exclusive venue for any judicial proceeding shall be the state or federal courts located in Jefferson County, Colorado, and you consent to personal jurisdiction in those courts.

22. Dispute Resolution; Binding Arbitration; Class-Action Waiver

PLEASE READ THIS SECTION CAREFULLY — IT AFFECTS YOUR LEGAL RIGHTS.

(a) Informal Resolution. Before filing any formal proceeding, you agree to first contact us at contact@redactedtacticalsupply.com and attempt in good faith to resolve the dispute for at least thirty (30) days.

(b) Binding Arbitration. Except as set forth in (d) below, any dispute, claim, or controversy arising out of or relating to these Terms, the Site, or any product (each, a “Dispute”) shall be resolved by final and binding arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association (“AAA”) under its Consumer Arbitration Rules in effect at the time of filing. Arbitration shall be conducted by a single arbitrator. The seat of arbitration shall be Jefferson County, Colorado, unless the parties agree otherwise; for claims under $10,000, the arbitration may be conducted by telephone or written submissions at your election.

(c) Class-Action Waiver. YOU AND RTS AGREE THAT EACH MAY BRING CLAIMS AGAINST THE OTHER ONLY IN AN INDIVIDUAL CAPACITY, AND NOT AS A PLAINTIFF OR CLASS MEMBER IN ANY PURPORTED CLASS, COLLECTIVE, OR REPRESENTATIVE PROCEEDING. THE ARBITRATOR MAY NOT CONSOLIDATE MORE THAN ONE PERSON’S CLAIMS.

(d) Exceptions. Either party may bring an individual action in small claims court for any claim that qualifies. RTS may seek injunctive or equitable relief in any court of competent jurisdiction to protect its intellectual property or to enforce Section 11.

(e) Opt-Out. You may opt out of this Section 22 by sending written notice to contact@redactedtacticalsupply.com within thirty (30) days of first agreeing to these Terms. Your notice must include your full name, address, and a clear statement that you wish to opt out of arbitration. Opting out does not affect any other provision of these Terms.

(f) Survival. This Section 22 survives termination of these Terms.

23. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is held invalid or unenforceable, that provision shall be enforced to the maximum extent permissible, and the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.

24. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, Shipping Policy, and Refunds & Returns Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and RTS regarding the Site and your purchases, and supersede all prior agreements, written or oral, on the subject.

25. Assignment

You may not assign these Terms without our prior written consent. We may assign these Terms without restriction, including in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.

26. No Waiver

RTS’s failure to enforce any provision of these Terms is not a waiver of that provision or any other.
